Cultural STEWARD

Shanon Kelley

I’m Shanon Kelley. I am a community organizer and international traveling muralist. In the past year, I facilitated a cultural exchange between middle school students in the Peruvian Andes and rural Appalachia, led a Teen Internship, organized contract artists to provide free activities in our community, and coordinated videography projects with displaced Venezuelan artists. I am dedicated to using the arts as a mechanism for healing and unifying.

My murals can be found along the Ohio River Valley Corps of Engineers Flood Walls, Buddhist Temples, Navajo Ceremonial Centers, Mayan Villages, and Incan Owned Lodges. My passion is helping communities tell their stories through narrative painting.
