Talofa lava! My name is Brigitta, and I’m a proud Tama’itai Samoa living in Anchorage, Alaska. I recently graduated from West Anchorage High School and as a first-generation college student, I’m passionate about education, cultural identity, and creating spaces where Pacific Islander youth feel seen and heard. Through this fellowship, I want to uplift the voices of our community and help tell the stories that don’t always make it into the spotlight.
