OUR PROJECT IDEA

Our project, "Roots & Rising: Pacific Futures in the North", will highlight the stories of Pacific Islander youth in Alaska—especially Tama’itai Samoa —through creative storytelling, interviews, and community workshops. We'll explore what it means to navigate identity, culture, and belonging while pursuing higher education and careers in the diaspora. By sharing our journeys, we hope to inspire pride, visibility, and connection across generations.
