The Berkshire Inspiration Lab is a youth-led storytelling project by Ryan Keating (student photographer majoring in Environmental Science) and Alexandra Bills (student writer majoring in Business with a focus on sustainability), supported by cultural steward Lani Willmar, climate justice educator and Economic Recovery Corps Fellow at 1Berkshire. As young people who grew up in the rural Berkshires, we want to spotlight youth leaders, local businesses, and artists who are working to protect our environment and uplift our communities. We'll capture local changemakers through on-site photoshoots and interviews about what drives their work in preserving the magic of the Berkshires. These photo and story features will be shared on 1Berkshire’s platform, which includes 700+ member organizations, and across its wider partner network to celebrate our home and roots here in the Berkshires.
