Our project idea is Country Girlz, a spring 2026 dance recital that honors our heritage, folklore, and cultural roots through movement, music, and storytelling. Blending gospel, West African dance, improvisation, and blues, the recital will explore rural identity and the expressive power of dance in nature-based settings. Led by youth, this project will uplift soulful traditions and creative resilience in overlooked places, where art still grows wild and free.
